Higgs

The Higgs boson which was discovered in 2012 explains why elementary particles have mass. However, several fundamental questions in context with the Higgs theory are not yet answered. To obtain a better understanding the properties of the Higgs boson are being measured precisely. These properties are for example the decay modes or the coupling contstants. These measurements could possibly explain whether the Higgs boson has any connection to Dark Matter or whether further undiscovered elementary particles exist.
